Get to know me

Hey there! Thank you so much for visiting, I hope you feel safe in my little corner of the internet

Who am I?

I am a neurodivergent, queer, nature and animal lover from Milton Keynes. I'm a proud cat mum and vegan. I have PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome), I love silliness, art, dancing (badly), oversharing, and talking far too much about anything whimsical.
I am a Clairsentient Empath which means that I can feel and understand the emotions of others. When I am channelling during Tarot, Reiki, and even massage sessions, I often feel sensations within my body that help me to understand what might be going on in yours - spooky right!

I coined the name 'Wonky Witchy Wellness' because I'm a weirdo, and I think that weirdness needs to be celebrated more - being normal is boring!
I'm a practicing Witch and proud. Historically, witches were the healers and wise folk who worshipped the land and helped people heal using herbs and rituals. Unfortunately propaganda in the middle ages lead to witches being feared, demonised, and even killed. I put 'Witchy' in my business name to challenge this stereotype and help facilitate discussions around what it actually means to be a witch.
The human body, mind, and soul fascinate me and so I've chosen to dedicate my life to learning more about how to enhance our wellbeing. This knowledge is something I hope to share with others.

What do I offer?

I am fully qualified in Aromatherapy, Hot Stone & Deep Tissue Massage. I have also been a practicing Witch and Tarot Reader since 2020. I am qualified up to Reiki Level 2 and am aiming to become a Level 3 Reiki Master one day. I recently started branching out into co-hosting witchy and/or wellness events, workshops and retreats in Milton Keynes which is SO EXCITING. I love learning and sharing that knowledge, so I'm sure my list of offerings will continue growing as I do!

Why did I start this journey?

As with most of us, life has not always been easy for me. Some of the darkest moments have lead to me question whether I should even be here at all, and I hate the thought of others going through those same feelings without support.

Ultimately, early childhood trauma, struggles with addiction, chronic stress, non-existent self worth, lack of motivation, depression, anxiety, and a messy divorce have all lead me to where I am today. These experiences broke me down, destroyed everything I thought I knew about myself, and activated me towards greater growth. It is now my mission in life to help others going through similar challenges, by using the tools, rituals, and practices that have helped me along my personal journey.

My journey is far from over. We are always learning, experiencing, suffering, and growing. This is all part of the human experience. I will never pretend to be fully healed, or claim that I can solve all of your problems. I won't ever expect some unattainable level of perfection from you either. The fact you're here and want more for yourself is enough.

The biggest thing I've learned is that no one else is coming to save you, but it sure helps having someone there supporting you who really sees you, who shares their unique perspective and wisdom, who creates safe spaces for you to feel seen, and who is rooting for you to succeed. That is what Wonky Witchy Wellness is all about.

Where am I based?

I work at a beautiful wellness centre in Milton Keynes called Nourish Holistic Wellbeing and Healing Centre, where I have my very own treatment room on the ground floor - Look how pretty she is!

I am very particular about how I keep my room, I don't do overhead lights so the mood lighting is essential! I also love burning incense, lighting candles and performing regular protective rituals to keep the space clear of any lingering negative or stagnant energies. Although I do offer online Tarot Readings and distance Reiki Treatments, I much prefer meeting people in person. Energy is so powerful and nothing beats sharing a sacred space together in my opinion!

Why this work specifically?

I love facilitating safe spaces for my clients to reconnect with their magic. I love the deep conversations and explorations, seeing my clients truly relax and soften in my presence is so joyful to witness!

I wanted to bridge the gap between neurodivergence or 'otherness', witchcraft, and wellness culture. As someone who has struggled immensely with demand avoidance, routine, and just generally looking after myself, I want to help others like me to fall in love with the magic of self care.

Unfortunately modern wellness culture often comes with an awful lot of shame. It sometimes feels like if you don't exercise every day, eat your greens, go to bed on time, take a million supplements, maintain sobriety, never think a negative thought ever, and meditate for at least 10 minutes a day, then you've failed and will never be truly happy. Modern media makes taking care of yourself feel like another full time job, that costs you a fortune to maintain, and I'd like to challenge that.

The beautiful thing about Witchcraft is that it is a creative way to practice loving yourself, the earth, and everyone around you. In doing so, we really are able to attract more of what we love into our lives. Although Witchcraft and Wellness may feel like entirely different entities, they have a very common goal, and can support each other beautifully. I love being someone who can introduce magic into people lives, and show them how this can help to enhance their wellbeing and overall happiness without breaking the bank.

I love spreading the message that magic is everywhere and that anyone can be magical. I firmly believe that life is more fun when you believe in magic, and I take pride in having become the person I needed when I was at my lowest point.

Why choose me?

I genuinely care about every single client who crosses my path, and take great pride in delivering a truly bespoke service to all who visit me. I use my lived experience as a neurodiverse practitioner with complex trauma to ensure that all of my clients feel safe, seen, and held in my presence. No need is too much, no requirement is too strange, I am happy to adapt my practice to suit your needs because your needs are important to me. I pride myself on being a safe space for anyone who has ever felt unsafe, marginalised, unseen, unheard, or misunderstood in a society that loves to box people in.

Who do I work with?

I have worked with a diverse range of clients and that is exactly how I like it! Anyone is welcome to visit me, no matter how you look, what you believe, how you identify, what your cultural or religious background is, or how able bodied you are - you will always be welcomed with love and acceptance. I am always happy to adapt my practice to accommodate any religious or cultural beliefs that prohibit the practice of witchcraft.

I am particularly interested in working with fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community, those with chronic illnesses/pain, and neurodivergent people, because I don't think there are enough wellness spaces available to accommodate those who don't fit neatly into societies boxes. We all deserve to have an empowering wellness space to feel accepted exactly as we are.

I find I do my best work with those who are feeling chronically stressed/tense, navigating major life changes, struggling with self love, or who are used to looking after everyone else instead of themselves. It also helps if you have an interest in deepening your spiritual practice, but this is not essential.

If this feels aligned, I'd love to work with you.
